Biography

Mental health and emotional wellbeing has been an integral part of my journey as an individual as well as a therapist. In the past 11 years of working as a psychologist, I have closely worked with individuals, couples and families for adolescents and adults across the lifespan dealing with depression, anxiety, stress management, aggression, dysfunctional family dynamics, relationship issues etc. Person centered approach has always been a part of my practice alongside utilizing tools of CBT and REBT. I believe each individual is capable of growth and coping and my role is to channelise that journey of thought and actions. I have also worked on developing mental health services in hard-to-reach areas where I was involved in conceptualising and delivering creative interventions that help widen the accessibility and scope of mental health services for individuals and groups. I have completed my MA Psychology from Osmania University, Hyderabad (2009-2011) after completing BA (Hons.) Psychology from University of Delhi.
